At Shiphero, we provide fulfillment services to customers in the United States and Canada.
By default, the currency for your account is set to "United States Dollar" (USD).
However, we have the option to update the currency at both the account level and through automation rules.
It's important to note that ShipHero does not automatically calculate currency differences. Instead, the system updates the currency symbol. We rely on your store platform's number.
For example, if your store sells products in USD, but your ShipHero currency is set to CAD, we will not recalculate USD 50 to CAD. To ensure accurate tracking of your finances, it's essential to match the ShipHero setting with the currency used on your store platform.
Here's another scenario: if you use a store from both the US and NZ, we'll have to set up an automation rule to ensure the currency is mapped correctly.
