If you need to ship internationally, we've got you covered at ShipHero. We work with different carriers to ensure your package arrives safe and sound. In this article, we cover:
Note: ShipHero does not guarantee door-to-door tracking for international shipments at this time, and international shipping can take up to 45 days. Additionally, Return to Sender is unavailable with international shipments, and merchants are responsible for filing International Carrier Claims.
Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU)
All ShipHero shipments are sent DDU "Delivery Duty Unpaid" - DDU means that your customer (The receiver) will get contacted by Customs once their shipment arrives. It is the customer's responsibility to settle any customs charges to release the shipment.
As the merchant, it is your responsibility to let your customers know about this because it is expected that they will be unaware that duties may need to be paid. This can negatively impact your customer experience if they must be aware of the process before international purchases.
DDU Service Levels
- EXPEDITED: ShipHero does not offer an International Expedited service.
- RETURNS: ShipHero does not support International returns.
Delivery Duties Paid (DDP)
ShipHero has partnered with Passport to enable DDP "Delivery Duty Paid" for international shipments to certain countries.
Contact our support team HERE if you are interested in using Passport.
Customs Fees & Declared Values
Merchants should accurately reflect their products' value when declaring their value for Customs purposes. ShipHero is not responsible for evaluating, checking, or verifying Merchant's declared customs values.
