Allowing Returns on your Website

You must be pre-approved for returns before getting started – please email fulfillment@shiphero.com for a quote:

How much do returns cost?

Return to sender – shipping label back (this is the same price charged to pick, pack and ship out) + $2.75 for first item and $0.25 for each additional item

Self returns – $3 base fee plus custom inspection fee for each item.

Paid returns – shipping label back (this is the same price charged to pick, pack and ship out) + plus custom inspection fee for each item.

Returns sent back to Merchant: Merchants have the option to send returns back to their home (or a 3rd party address). The cost of this return will be quoted once the 3rd party address is added. The label cost may be more than the cost to fulfill the same orders. This is because returns labels must be generated through USPS. USPS allows for pay on scan and also allows pickup free of charge from any address.

ShipHero Fulfillment provides a widget that you can embed in your e-commerce store to allow customer returns. In the video below, we will work you through how to enable customer returns and embed the widget in your store.

The video uses a Shopify store as an example, but you can embed this widget in any e-commerce platform that’s supported by ShipHero Fulfillment.

Once you’ve setup the returns widget, head over to our Customer Return Settings article to learn more about configuring the settings for the widget.
