Peak 2020 Overview, Deadlines, and Surcharges

HOLIDAY 2020 PLANNING – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

NOTE: These deadlines are subject to change as we navigate the first Peak Season since COVID.

This holiday season is going to be like no other peak season before due to many carriers being over capacity due to COVID.

Please note our deadlines and plan accordingly

The following will apply during Peak: October 16 through Jan 17

Receiving Dates & Times:
New Customers:

  • If you are a new customer and have never sent in product your cut off day for your first shipment is Friday 11/6.
  • If product arrives after Friday 11/6 we cannot guarantee to have it shelved by before BFCM.
  • There will be NO special projects in November all inventory must come in ready to shelve (following all receiving guidelines)

Current Customers:

  • Inventory must arrive by 11/13 to be shelved in time for BFCM
  • There will be NO special projects in November all inventory must come in ready to shelve (following all receiving guidelines)

Extended receiving: Please make sure vendors follow our Receiving Guidelines. Any inbound inventory that does not follow our guidelines will be further delayed.

Under 1/2 a container 5-8 days to receive product
Full container 8-12 days to receive product

Shipping Times
Expected delivery days should be adjusted and communicated to your customers due to carrier delays

  • Standard Ground shipments – orders will be shipped within 24 business hours
  • Expedited shipments must be received before 3pm EST to be shipped that day

Carriers are expecting unprecedented delays
**Allow for an additional 7 days for standard ground shipments
**Allow for 4 additional day for expedited shipments

Christmas arrival – We cannot guarantee arrivals because carriers are not guaranteeing delivery
**Standard orders must be received no later than December 9th
**Expedited orders must be received no later than December 16th

Reminder: Please note we cannot guarantee Christmas delivery due to expected carrier shipping delays.

PEAK SURCHARGES
Shipping: Yes. ShipHero’s holiday shipping surcharges will be 7%

Storage: No. there will be no holiday storage surcharges.

Receiving: No. However, if you or your vendor do not follow our receiving guidelines we reserve the right not to receive your inventory. In addition – we will charge an additional $35 / hour for labor associated with curing any inbound inventory that does not meet our receiving guidelines.
